Terms
Clear rules for a practical room-check tool.
ToneSpace helps you make better recording decisions, but it stays an estimated audio utility, not a certified acoustic lab.

Section 01
The agreement
These terms explain how you may use ToneSpace. By using the website or web room-check tool, you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.
If you use ToneSpace for a business, school, church, studio, or team, you confirm that you are allowed to use the tool for that purpose.
Section 02
What ToneSpace does
ToneSpace estimates room conditions from short microphone measurements. It can help you reason about noise floor, echo, voice clarity, and recording level before a call, class, podcast, vocal take, or voiceover.
ToneSpace gives practical guidance, not certified acoustic engineering measurements. Use professional acoustic testing where exact compliance, safety, or engineering decisions are required.
Section 03
Using it well
When using ToneSpace, you agree not to:
- Use the service in a way that breaks the law or violates someone else's rights.
- Try to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or abuse the website.
- Send harmful, misleading, or unlawful content through support channels.
- Use ToneSpace results as a substitute for professional advice where precision matters.
Section 04
Microphone permission
The web room check needs microphone permission to work. You are responsible for choosing a testing environment where it is appropriate to capture room sound and your own voice.
Do not run a test in a way that records or exposes private conversations without permission.
Section 05
Availability
We aim to keep ToneSpace available and useful, but the website may occasionally be slow, unavailable, or changed as we improve it.
Browser microphone behavior can vary by device, browser, operating system, hardware, and permissions. Scores may differ across devices.
Section 06
Ownership
ToneSpace, its design, copy, product logic, branding, and website code belong to ToneSpace or its creators. You may not copy the product or brand in a way that suggests you own or operate ToneSpace.
Your own room names, notes, support messages, and locally saved session data remain yours.
Section 07
Liability
ToneSpace is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, missed recordings, business interruption, or decisions made only from estimated room scores.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under laws that cannot be waived.
Section 08
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@tonespace.app.
Section 09
Changes
We may update these terms as ToneSpace grows. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use ToneSpace after a change means the updated terms apply.
